Playing musical chairs with light bulb colors is not what I had in mind in purchasing these bulbs.

They are amusing in some respects and annoying in others. With my three bulb candle lamps sometimes the colors will mix. Strange enough for light bulbs and unserious lighting effects, it is.

We recently replaced all our low-voltage LEDs with Block Blue Light Bio Lights, and the difference is astounding.

Installation was simple, our electrician only had to add plugs because of the way our house was originally wired. The new lights fit perfectly into the existing cutouts and look identical to the old ones.

At night, they automatically switch on in Zero Blue mode, giving off a warm yellow glow. It feels calming straight away, and the shift in how the house feels at night is remarkable.

I understand the impact of Artificial Light at Night (A.L.A.N.), and these lights make a huge difference. Standard LEDs pump out blue light that messes with your sleep, hormones, and overall well-being. The Bio Lights remove that problem completely.

If you value good sleep and health, don’t hesitate, replace your LEDs with these. You’ll feel the benefits immediately.

Really happy with my purchase. Was initially unsure of how practical havingthe three different light settings would be but we have soon got used to switching between the levels. The night setting definitely helps with winding down at the end of the day.

These lights are a vast improvement over the regular, bright LED’s that we had previously, which were installed by a well meaning MassSave representative trying to reduce our energy bills. Our older guests see these new lights and pleasantly reminisce about incandescents from years past. Thank you!

Being able to adjust the light during the day to pace with the natural sunlight has helped my family and I keep better circadian rhythms. I’ve especially noticed that when I use the warmest lighting in the kid’s rooms at bedtime and if they wake in the night, they sleep and go back to sleep much more reliably. Thank you!

We chose Block Blue Light’s BioLight Downlights for our kitchen and family room because we value health-conscious products and believe that health comes first. We invested over $2,000 in these lights, confident that they would deliver both quality and longevity.

Initially, the products were great – exactly what we wanted. However, their lifespan has been very disappointing. We were told the lights should last around 30,000 hours, but ours began failing after roughly 1,500 hours (a generous estimate). Over the past 2.5 years, all of them have gradually failed — well before their expected lifespan. Typically, each light would first switch permanently to “night mode,” then fail completely a few weeks later.

We reached out to Customer Support, who mentioned there are many factors that can impact performance. However, our lighting setup was installed with brand-new wiring by a qualified electrician, so we expected the lights to perform as advertised. The company offered a 15% discount on replacements, but this felt insincere given that they regularly run 20–25% promotions.

Unfortunately, we don’t feel the company stands behind its products. For the premium price, we expected much better quality and customer support. We can’t recommend these lights based on our experience.

What they don’t tell you is that these lights will constantly go out of sync, meaning if you have multiple lights in a single fixture or on a single socket, you will have to unscrew the entire light fixture, or for the ceiling mounted ones, you have to unscrew them one by one and keep switching everything off and on in hopes you can get them back in sync. We have 8 in our kitchen and they are never in sync. So you then there’s little difference between night and day since the daytime lights are on with the night time lights and vice versa. Such a huge disappointment for thousands of dollars of lights that we could have got for a couple hundred if we simply bought incandescents.
