    Relax, even if your employer thinks it's better if you don't

    I worked from home for four years, in my basement office. I got used to the fireplace and the warm lighting. Then, I got an opportunity to work in a brand new building. My new office is great except wow I can't do a thing about the lighting. Or can I? I spent about $300 on a shade, an air cleaner, and a lamp, and the management had me remove the shade. It's ok though because these glasses work better than the shade anyways. Employers like blue white light because they think it makes you more productive, but in reality they just want you to be less comfortable at the office. Blue light increases cortisol and adrenaline. Translation: it increases your stress levels. Why deal with that? Get a pair of these babies and relax. They can take your shade away but not your blue light glasses. Very happy, and so much more relaxed now.
