I have these bulbs all over my home (kitchen, living room, bedrooms, bathroom, hallways, closets). Every time somebody comes to visit, they comment on how relaxing it feels to be at my place. I always know it's because of the blue-light-and-flicker-free lighting, which just gives your eyes and brain a nice break from all of the ultra-flickery blue lighting that is out there in the "real world". After years of using the Block Blue Light bulbs, I would not even consider using any others.

Eliminating blue light has become my mission since I've discovered nocturnal blue light increases the risk of cancer, obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and hundreds of other diseases. Disrupting the circadian system also disrupts our metabolism. Light is as important as the water we drink, the air we breathe and the food we eat. It's the fourth pillar of health. So, onto these bulbs. They are great. They don't flicker and I like being able to switch over to non-blue during twilight. I hope they do PAR38 bulbs in the future as I have two of those fixtures in my kitchen, the only normal bulbs I have left to switch. Everyone should read 'The Light Doctor'. Artificial light also effects our pets! And wildlife. I have a street light outside my house that is LED blue and I think local government needs to be lobbied to change street lighting so it does not damage our health.
