    Like a portable candle

    Arrived promptly after ordering, packaged in a small cardboard box with a power cable included for charging. The light itself is lightweight and easy to carry from room to room. It did initially appear a little plasticky and cheap but it has grown in me.

    The push-down function to change the brightness and turn the light on or off does work, but it’s a bit clunky and noisy, especially noticeable if you’re using it at night..which is why I’ve given it 4 stars.

    I’m really glad I chose the amber colour instead of red. It gives a beautiful, warm glow that’s very similar to candlelight, but without any toxic fumes or burning concerns. Charging is via USB-C, and I appreciated that the light turns red while charging and green once fully charged, making it very easy to tell its status at a glance.

    I would definitely consider purchasing again or buying one as a gift. Some kind of sticker, magnet, or hook could be a useful addition for fixing it in place, although the portability is one of its strengths. It is on the expensive side, so it’s worth keeping an eye out for sales where you can sometimes get 15–20% off.

    I love this little lamp!

    The battery lasts a long time, and the device is super light and practical. I always travel with it so I don’t have to deal with disruptive hotel lights before going to sleep. At home, it’s my go-to when I get up in the middle of the night to use the toilet. I liked it so much I bought a second one!

    Lifesaver!

    I have to get up early (before sunrise) daily for work. I use this to help apply my makeup. As soon as my eyes see the sunrise, I can flip on the overhead lights. The Beacon Light has helped keep my circadian rhythm intact. I also love how portable it is! It's super easy to travel with. And I love that I can charge it instead of having to buy new ones.

    Loves these lights

    These lights are great. It would be a good idea for the company to communicate they've gone to Usb-c connectors instead of Micro-USB for the charge cables. Caught us by surprise.

    Works well

    I bought two of these and they have been great for traveling. Really convenient to have on your bedside table, especially in hotels. It would be great if there was an option for a bigger size!
