I love that these are plug in as I bought 2 for my elderly parents as they'd never remember to charge the rechargeable ones. They need them on all night in their nursing home room (as it doesn't prevent sleep) and bathroom so they can see if they want to get up but not be awakened by white light.

It's especially important for the elderly who have any stage of dementia too as apparently their circadian cycles get thrown out somehow by it and are often up in the middle of the night not realising they should go back to bed. Having red light night light is ideal a the red globes give too much light to see, enabling them to do things and stay up. Being able to adjust how bright the night light is is fantastic too so it can be dimmed to low light if feels too bright.

This is a game-changer. I am so glad that this company was recommended to us. I get eye problems and headaches from the flicker that almost -all- other LED lights have—especially when dimmed. It's actually not good for anyone. But I've finally found a company that knows how to do dimming right! I'm so relieved! NO flicker. Just clean light. Plus theirs is a true red light. Many manufacturers cheat and put a red something or other over a cheap white/blue bulb. We may not be able to tell but our eyes and our brains know the difference! Goodbye sleep hormones. But not this company. This is the legit stuff.

I also really, really appreciate that—and I've ordered several items now—their products don't stink! I ordered a red light book light for reading in bed at night from someone else before I found out about Block Blue Light, and it smelled like a chemical factory. It was awful. And we left it to off-gas in the garage for six months and it still smelled! Airing things out has become a normal part of shopping these days but I am so happy to say that I have been able to unpack and use each BBL product the first night! What a difference! Just plug in or charge and go. (Btw, this one is really easy to use where you have an outlet, but they also make one that can be used anywhere, and is magnetic, that can be recharged. So super convenient either way.)

I've been using this product for over a month now. This little night light produces an abundance of red light with a sensitive motion detector sensor that activates quickly with even the slightest movement within its range. I bought it for my room for a nightlight for my 17 year old American Pitbull Terrier Cinnamon so we both would not be disturbed by the annoying, bright common night lights we were using. I unplug it during the day as my room stays dark so it doesn't activate to save the lifespan of the light. I would recommend purchasing one of these and will be buying another for my bathroom and living room to replace my old night lights. I know its been helping Cinnamon and I get better quality sleep.
