It gives off a good light to see with.

Love this little torch - we have 2 - one in Sydney and one up at our farm in mountains - can check the time on our analogue clocks during the night and find our way to the loo in our barn at our farm if no moonlight.

The torch is good. Does not come with batteries. We do a lot of astronomy so it's important to have a red light torch to preserve night vision

Great for navigating to the bathroom at night.

This torch isn’t overly bright so not recommended as a replacement for all things you would usually use a torch for however it is perfect for night time trips to the toilet either at home or while camping. Lights the way adequately without disturbing others and I’ve noticed that it’s quicker to return to sleep afterwards. Definitely recommended for this purpose.
